Hands-on Art Director, I design fantasy worlds

I work for different types of shows, art projects & music videos. From story board to costums and stage design, I’m flexible. I’m currently working in Paris and in New York. I can gather a A-Team of creative doers. The most important is to meet passionate people I can learn from and inspire with my imagination.

Nelly Zagury

Nelly Zagury was born in October 1987, in Paris.
She lives and works in between Paris and New-York.

She graduated with honors from the prestigious Ecole Superieure des Arts Decoratifs de Strasbourg – ESADS in June 2011.
Majoring in contemporary jewelry design, Nelly achieved a high distinction mark on her dissertation “L’Art du Mauvais Gout”, The Art of Bad Taste.

After spending a year at the famous Atelier de Sevres in Paris, polishing her skills in illustration, she studied at the fashion accessories department of the Geneva University of Art and Design (HEAD). Back in Paris, she contributed to a fashion accessories collection for the innovative collaborative Haute Couture duo, On aura tout vu, before  interning as assistant jewelry designer for Claire Deve (Chanel, Boucheron and Christofle).

Traveling, reading, drawing and inventing short stories have always been a big part of who she is today. Yet, it was only during her student years in Strasbourg, under the influence of contemporary jewelry artists like Sophie Hanagarth and Florence Lehmann’s, that Nelly Zagury decided to revive her work – initial narrative, ornamentation and femininity -  through 3D.
