The Amazon ornaments are instruments of seduction, hybrid mixture of magical objects of primitive cultures and music hall sexy dress. My muse, elegant, fine and smiling, is in his attitude, as inspired by the Hindu god Shiva Nataraja as by the famous dancer Josephine Baker. The Cosmic Dancer four-arm pace that represents destruction and creation of the world is mixed with a gracious Venus wild and eccentric.The Amazon, fierce and violent warrior is not really represented. Of this myth, I keep the essence. The Amazon is, for me, a conquering woman who keeps away from the man. My muse has fun in the jungle with her friends the skins of animals, regardless of the male on the prowl.

2012. Sandy storm’s Day in NYC. It’s the End of the World. Inspired by the Mayas vision and the Devotionnal Mexican “Anima Sola” I recreated the fire woman. She’s burning in the woodshed, enjoying her eternal damnation.

The  performer Ophélie Mac invited Fannie Sosa for 3 days of Bootyshake workshop. 
While they were bootyshaking, I created the costume and jewellery design for the unique Performance at DeLaCharge.

Made of cast silver, the Ring Dagger and Four Aces are objects both solid and feminine.
Defense weapons and fearsome parade, their shape remind the shells and is inspired by the legendary chimeric creature of the unicorn.Inspired as much by the famous Bayeux tapestry that by the princesses of fairy tales, this photograph stages the turmoil of the virgin girl.

Inspired as much by the fantasy of the chastity belt of the Middle Ages as by Renaissance armor, this object reveals the inherent tensions of the seduction.Ambivalent object that hides and reveals at the same time, it is a weapon of seduction.This accessory, in the Middle Ages, splitting the body into two parts, thus marking what was “below the belt” as something impure.The Chastity Belt video reverse this conception in showing the sexual part of the body as a portrait of face.

Climax is a collection of fantastical ornaments. Flamingo feathers, animal skeletons and mummified pineapple are reincarnated in original objects. Through a final journey, these ornaments cross the river of love, and stimulate the pleasure to its apogée. 

Central to the fake staging, cheap pirate proudly wears his sidekick.
In my world, the dream, as a perfect world, does not hide the backstage of the rainbow.
I try to offer to the viewer a partial illusion, a show built from scratch where the traces of manufacture are visible.
The hose and the pool are indices of derision and humor.The blue pipe, both clew of drolleries and indecency comes presentifying which can not be shown.The beautiful pirate and his parrot will not traverse the oceans. Their incredible journey ends where it began, along the turquoise poolside.

In the project of large format printing Chimera, I used a collection of heterogeneous elements.
I got a variety of skin with scales that I have assembled, the legs of ostriches, Nile monitors lizards, crocodile tails.
These were inked in gold and silver, placed temporarily on the ground and superimpose, then passed under a steamroller. Printed on pieces of silk, these skins are finally reconstructing a large monster, built from various kinds of skins.
This construction has eclectic reading levels, and so, a temporality and a new dynamic.The viewer can approach the fabric to look at the details of the various skins, then stand back and observe all to discover the “great beast”!

The fetish object is initially, the symbol of an animistic cult, the belief in the supernatural power of some object.With Sigmund Freud, it becomes the index of a lack, as a substitute phallus that reflects a fear of castration. This ambivalence of the fetish object is a major of the Centaur project.The tails of the Centaur are both magical objects and instruments for reading the body, signs of gender. I was initially inspired by the pattern of the braid, the plait as a female symbol. Associated with the structure of the scale, it was then moved to the birth of the buttocks in a ponytail, a symbol of virility. Of this mixture reappeared a kind of hybrid object, which, once detached from the body, like a whip or a penis sheath.Figure covered in golden mud, he embodies virility in his animal propensities.

It’s without hierarchy, in a sort of “bric-a-brac” of heterogeneous elements that I mix a twist from a chair to porcelain enameled in gold and crystal from an old chandelier.As his crown, my king has contradictions. The preciousness or not of the materials is like the appearance glorious or not of this man of power.He would like to be respectable but he is vulgar. His insatiable desire of ascension is a reflection of the height of his crown, which makes it even more funny and ridiculous.

Discovered by Christophe Colomb in Guadeloupe in 1493, pineapple feeds the curiosity and the Western dream. This unknown fruit becomes a symbolic object of wonderful and exotism.  In my project, after being mummified, it turns into a box that contains a heart of glass escaping in golden metal leaf. Both Sacred Heart pineapple and reliquary containing a precious bottle, the elements that make up the object are deconstructed and then reconstructed, in a move that gives way for interpretation of symbols.
Exposed in the Cabinet of Natural History of Jean Hermann (1738-1800) at the Zoological Museum in Strasbourg,it fits in this scene both scientific and extravagant, between the warehouse and the treasure.This firm is a worthy descendant of the Rooms of Wonders, these “Wunderkammern” of princes of the late sixteenth century.
